Alcoholic Beverage License Approvals
The Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation (DBPR) requires an alcoholic beverage license applicant to obtain approval from the Florida Department of Revenue (Department). If you wish to apply

Requirement for Department Approval
Before an applicant can be approved by the Department, the named applicant must be registered for sales and use tax. For more information on registering, visit the Department’s

Registered Sales and Use Tax Applicants
If you are registered with the Department, and possessing a business partner number and a sales and use tax certificate number, email a copy of your completed and signed application to
GTA_Beverage_License_Approval@floridarevenue.com. Including your
business partner number and sales and use tax certificate number will assist in the review and approval process. Note: The Department will not process incomplete and/or unsigned
applications.

Applications are reviewed and processed by the business location’s local service center. If you have questions about the status of your application, contact your local
taxpayer service center.
