Option 1

How to Get Your Driver License Reinstated with a Written Agreement

STEP 1: Contact the Child Support Program and sign a written agreement.

Contact the Child Support Program by email, phone or web chat and sign a written agreement to pay your past-due support in monthly payments. You should be able to receive your reinstated driver license at a local DSHMV or tax collector office within approximately two business days after paying the reinstatement fees with DHSMV.

STEP 2: Pay your reinstatement fee with DHSMV.

After the Child Support Program receives your payment or you complete a written agreement to repay your past-due amount, pay your driver license reinstatement fee online at MyDMVPortal.flhsmv.gov or visit your local DHSMV or tax collector office to pay the license reinstatement fees. These fees must be paid before you can obtain your reinstated driver license.

If your license has been suspended for reasons other than child support, full reinstatement of your license may not be possible until you resolve all outstanding non-child support reasons for suspension.
